Portable Gas Monitors

The GX-3R Pro is the world’s smallest 5-gas monitor weighing only 4.58 ounces and fits in the palm of your hand (2.9” W x 2.6” H x 1.06” D). It simultaneously monitors and displays 5 different gases. In addition to monitoring standard confined space gases, LEL, O2, CO, & H2S, the GX-3R Pro has a 5th channel where you can add infrared or toxic gas sensors (Hydrogen Cyanide (HCN) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) sensors are currently available for the GX-3R Pro).

The 03 Series single gas monitors are designed for LEL, O2, H2S, or CO detection. Individuals need personal protection in hazardous areas at all times without adding extra bulky equipment, and the 03 Series can provide that kind of protection at an affordable price. The GP-03, OX-03, CO-03, and HS-03 models are personal single gas monitors designed for protection from exposure to combustible hydrocarbons, oxygen deficiency, hydrogen sulfide, or carbon monoxide.

Controllers

Gas detection should not be complicated. The Beacon 110 is gas detection simplified. The Beacon 110 is a powerful, low cost fixed system controller for one point of gas detection. It is microprocessor controlled, versatile, simple to install and operate, and priced to be the industry’s best value single gas detection controller. It is capable of accepting RKI sensors directly for LEL level combustibles, Oxygen, Hydrogen Sulfide, or Carbon Monoxide. The Beacon 110 can also accept any 4-20 mA transmitter (2 or 3 wire, 24 VDC). Sensors can be mounted directly at the Beacon 110 housing, or can be wired remote from the controller.

The 10 amp rated relays are strong enough to directly power external alarms and horns. The digital display has backlighting and simultaneous readout of the gas type and concentration.

The Beacon 110 is also housed in a NEMA 4X rated case for a weather tight seal. This case design complies with lock out / tag out standards and can be fully secured. An external reset switch allows the alarm to be silenced from outside of the controller housing. The Beacon 110 ships complete with a wall mounting kit for easy installation.

RKI offers the industry’s widest selection of standard and toxic gas detection sensors, which can be utilized with the Beacon 110, providing gas monitoring protection for almost any application.

The RKI Air Alert series ambient air toxic gas detector is a versatile assembly that uses an electrochemical, infrared or PID sensor element to detect a variety of gases. Wire powered (12 to 35 VDC) with 4-20 mA analog and RS-485 Modbus outputs.

Magnetic switches allow for non-intrusive calibration while in the field as well as full system settings and diagnostics. The Air Alert represents the latest leading edge technology in fixed gas detection today.

Stand Alone Detectors

The OX-600 is an indoor, standalone monitor that detects Oxygen (O2) with a range of 0-25.0 % volume with 0.1% increments. It’s sleek, low-profile design is equipped with a unique tri-color display, which changes color as oxygen levels reach each alarm level. The OX-600 has 2 preset alarms, and comes ready to operate with a simple wall mount bracket and 10 foot power cord.

It is capable of operating with three different power options; 115 VAC, 24 VDC or alkaline batteries. If Oxygen is present, the user is notified by an audible alarm tone and the multicolored LED digital display. The OX-600 uses a fast responding low-cost plug-in style galvanic cell sensor. This long life sensor is field-replaceable with no special tools required. The sensor can also be remotely mounted with an optional remote sensor cable.
